SISTERS, SISTERLOCKS SESSION AND HATS

After the Sisterlocks Training, I scheduled appointments and had my Sister Robin Mitchell, Certified Sisterlocks Consultant from Stafford, VA come to assist. It was a long week and crash course...I enjoyed it all! Before saying our good-bye's, we had a photo session that included my hats. I planned to create hats for Sisterlocks and will be publishing them soon on the WEB.

MY SECOND SESSION INSTALLING SISTERLOCKS

This young lady is transitioning from relaxed hair to the Sisterlocks. She had 13 inches of hair with 3 inches of new regrowth. My Sister Robin assisted me and we both enjoyed working with her, she was very pleasant. I am getting more confident and the excitement you feel after you completed an installation is excelerating! After completing her Sisterlocks, we style her hair as requested.

MY FIRST HEAD SESSION INSTALLING SISTERLOCKS

Unfortunately, I can't use this head for my certification since she is family. My Sister Robin Mitchell, Sisterlocks Certified Consultant from Stafford, VA, visited this weekend to assist with my first head. Fortunate for me, my Aunt Monica was my first client to get me started and build my confidence. As you can see, my Aunt has very thick hair. After my Sister Robin, who is also a New York State License Cosemetologist, Colored my Aunts hair we installed the Sisterlocks. I hope to get good at blogging and post more pictures.

Introducing New Sisterlocks Trained Consultant

I completed the Sisterlocks Training in Philadelphia, PA September 20-23, 2008. The Sisterlocks Master Trainers were Denise Dixon-Roberts, Laverne Davis-Gay, and Celeste Geary. We had a full class and we all enjoyed each other company.
